The Governor of Alexander Logistics, Tsvetin TODOROV: Our policy is based on loyalty to the
customer and high quality of service
The private Bulgarian company Alexander Logistics has been
on the market for twelve years and its uppermost priority in this period has
been the fast development to reach leading positions among companies, which
offer all-embracing logistic solutions. The team consisted of three people in
1994 and in 2005 it numbers 170 people. 95% of the employees are young experts,
trained by the company to be loyal to the customers. Among the main problems in
the past was the funding of company projects and gaining the trust of credit
institutions. In this respect, the company has established an excellent
cooperation with International Asset Bank.
The company offers a wide range of logistic services, with
the emphasis on: group services to major European destinations, such as Italy,
Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Poland and Hungary; air
cargo; container services; domestic services for groups of cargo to and from
any point in Bulgaria; customs representation with a customs office (at the
Customs of Sofia airport);warehousing, logistics and distribution;
commissioning and re-packing; VAT services; IT solutions for e-commerce and
delivery management. The marketing policy of Alexander Logistics is based upon
the principle of loyalty to the customer and the provision of high-quality
services.
Recently the company reported a significant growth of the
number of handled consignments and in its performance in general. The customer
structure includes mainly small and middle-sized enterprises, which aim at
quick development and therefore require extreme reliability of service. Some of
the customers are really big companies, such as Office 1 Superstore, for
example. With the latter “Alexander Logistics” implemented a project for the
outsourcing of the overall warehousing and logistic activity. As a result, the
Central logistic storage facility of Alexander Logistics serves the retail
network of Office 1 Superstore, which includes 137 shops, as well as their
international customers.
The company has entered the railway sphere quite recently
by investing in two railway tracks with direct access to its warehousing
facilities. This investment provides good opportunities for combined services
in transit traffic.
